The Team.
Collette is the owner, creator, and one-and-only artist behind the business. A self-taught ceramist and entrepreneur, she built the company completely from the ground up through hard work, creativity, and passion for handmade art. For over 20 years, she has specialized in handcrafted ceramic lighting and décor. Before ceramics, she worked as a muralist and craftsman, creating custom art on rock and wood. She also taught herself website design, marketing, and business management while growing the company from small local art fairs into a nationally recognized brand, with her work featured across the country and in the Virgin Islands
Husband and right hand man. Behind the scenes, he helps keep everything running smoothly; from pouring molds and sanding each piece after firing to building boxes and ensuring every order is packaged safely. He plays a huge role in bringing each handmade light to life.
Kristal steps in wherever she’s needed most; helping glaze pieces, assist with product photography, and support day-to-day production. Her creativity and willingness to help with anything make her an important part of the team
Jessika just began her journey in marketing, website design, and online promotion for the business while also helping grow our sister brand, SouthwestStyle Gifts. From social media to customer experience, she helps share our handmade work with customers everywhere.
Who We Are
Custom Cut originated from a passion crafting functional art pieces that enhance interior and exterior spaces, including outdoor and patio lighting, porch lights, pool houses, lanais, garden lighting, log homes, lodges, and more. I take pride in creating stunning lights can be showcased in both homes and businesses, indoors and outdoors. I can custom nearly any cutout or artwork you envision, ranging from Southwestern and wildlife themes to nautical, scenic, modern, and beyond. Unlike many outdoor ceramic sconces available today, I apply a beautifully fired glaze my outdoor lighting, offering a variety of colors to choose.
