Welcome!

We create one-of-a-kind handmade custom ceramic lighting

Every piece is handcrafted to order, using durable materials, vibrant fired-on glazes, and UL-listed hardware for safe installation

Please allow approximately 4–12 weeks for production, as each piece is individually handmade with care by just myself and husband.
Thank you for supporting our dream and handmade artistry!
— Custom Cut Lighting

How it's done

Phase 1

Please complete the contact form.
Owner and Artist, Collette, will collaborate with you for a custom design.

She will create a draft of the artwork & send to you for your approval before beginning your creation.

Phase 2

Once approved, a liquid clay is poured into the selected mold.

When the desired thickness is achieved, we drain the "slip" and separate the mold from the product.

Phase 3

It is then handed over to Collette to cut your design.

Your item is then left to sit and dry at room temperature for several days.

Phase 4

It is then inspected for imperfections, sanded and prepped for glaze.

After glazing, it is fired in a kiln at nearly 2000 degrees. Then slowly cooled over1-2 days to prevent cracking.

Phase 5

Each firing results in a distinctive finish, ensuring that no two pieces are alike.

Once finished, the item is meticulously packaged and delivered to the carrier.
